Greetings all,

With all the emphasis on pastors and ministers, church planting can sometimes look… well, decidedly masculine. But Geneva Push is a network that's convinced that the best plants are those which are led by a couple, teamed by God to break new ground for the Gospel. Cathie and Andrew Heard from EV Church on New South Wales' Central Coast are one such couple.

If you've been along to any of Geneva's conferences there's a good chance you'll have either met Cathie or seen her in front of a microphone. This week we're releasing the videos from one of the network's 'Secret Ministry Wives Business' sessions at Multiply13:

We'd encourage you to take a look, not just ministry wives but the ministry husbands who want to support them. As a quick summary, you'll hear Cathie talk on:

  1. Learning how to deal with church planting stress
  2. Understanding your own church planting expectations
  3. Accepting the truth: this is your mission too
  4. Tips for balancing church and family life
  5. Letting go of the need to be perfect
  6. Accepting that feeling vulnerable is normal

These are the first of many bold, thoughful, feminine resources that will be coming out this month as we turn the spotlight on the other halves of our church planting teams.

And don't forget you've still got time to sign up for our free webinar with Cathie Heard and Renae Godden on Keeping Friendship Alive, a live, online session especially aimed at men and women coping with the often all-absorbing pressures of ministry.

Enjoy!
