Thanks to Clayton Fopp from Holy Trinity Mount Barker (SA) for pointing me to this Google App: Gantter.

It's a project management software tool that helps you set up 'Gantt charts' – that is, basically a timeline for multiple jobs that need to be done for a project. So you might have promotions, main speakers, electives, venue and so on, for a conference.

In the past I have used a Spreadsheet to track these, and had assumed that any more elaborate project management software would be fiddly and expensive.

But I'm keen to give this a go and see how I get on.  How to get it:

  1. Go to Google Drive
  2. Click Settings
  3. Click Manage Apps
  4. Click Connect to More Apps
  5. Search for “Gantter”

Anyone else used it?
