I’ve never used them before. Used Introducing God once. I’ve never been bothered. Seems too complicated. Set up AV, order participant booklets.

When I was with church, I’d rather focus our mission efforts around live evangelistic sermons and interactive Bible studies. I just didn’t see why we’d waste some of our evangelistic opportunities on watching telly.

But after a morning of umming and aahing, I have order Keller’s Gospel In Life and Reason for God. Why?

Partly it’s being convinced that they’ll be top quality and good content. Well I’ll have to watch them…

Partly it’s because this uni mission job provides heaps more evangelistic opportunities, heaps more small group opportunities, heaps more things.

And DVDs will be another gimmick that might inspire some in a unique way to invite someone along.

And DVDs are easily transferrable to people who may not be able to lead a Bible study.

So I’ll give it a go. And maybe let you know how we get on…
