At some point you’ve got to move your leadership meetings beyond talking through every decision and action together. You’ve got to move away from the leader keeping track of everyone else’s jobs.

One way to make this shift is to stop team meetings from tracking TODOs. Instead request each person to report on their key responsibilities, and raise any issues or questions as needed.

Not only does this confer greater responsibility, it also frees up time in team meetings for talking about vision, Bible and people.
