Cross & Crown: Melbourne have made some unusual decisions about their Sunday online service (skip to 2:01) and they’ve changed the way that post-service breakout rooms work (skip to 11:49). Lead pastor Adam Ch’ng reflects on why they don’t upload their services online after Sunday and the specific adjustments they’ve made to their zoom rooms. Adam does a great job of reflecting theologically from first principles. Look out for the keyphrase: church is an ‘active participatory belonging’ rather than a ‘passive spectator experience’.
