FOUNDATIONS

We want to help denominations, churches and individuals plant theologically-driven, healthy & growing church planting churches. Foundations is an intensive church plant training for all new Geneva Push recommended planters, planting couples and their teams.

At Foundations you will:

1. Connect with other planters from across Australia. The strength of Geneva Push is that we're a growing network of experienced  Australian planters.  Planting can be a lonely experience, but we know that when planters are connected with other planters in meaningful ways, their survivability rates increase dramatically.  Foundations is a key moment to connect planters to each other for a lifetime of shared learning and support.

2. Get input from experienced church planters and trainers.  The strength of a network is that we can learn from and sharpen one another.  At Foundations, planters will hear and interact with experienced church planters from within the Geneva Push network to consider the key things that will shape their plant, grow & mobilise disciples and reach their communities with the Gospel.

3. Sharpen your planting plans based on input and discussion.  Each assessed planter will bring to Foundations their "Planting Plan", which will consist of the vision, mission and values for their plant, but also the background research they've done in preparing to connect with and reach their communities.  These planting plans will form the basis for interaction and discussion for planters as they share what they are planning and get feedback and input from those around them, both formally and informally

4. Spend time considering how to honour God in their family, life and ministry.  As reflected in our Church Planter Key Competencies we want planters to consider all the responsibilities, opportunities and privileges God has laid before them.  From their personal understanding of God's grace in their lives, the implications of this on their marriage & family, and the application of these things for how they conduct their lives and ministry.

Foundations is a key way we support and strengthen planters as they set out on their journey of planting.  We want to see hundreds of churches evangelised into existence, so if you'd like to help us invest in the next generation of planters by supporting them in these crucial days away at Foundations, then we'd love to chat to you about how you can do that.
